International Campaign for Tibet | new window

Since the cause of Tibet became popularized, the reality of the occupation of Tibet has almost been lost amidst the glitz of celebrity benefits, or the self-congratulation of some boycotts and letter-writing campaigns. The fact remains that Tibet has been and continues to be the scene of a systematic repression, imperialist exploitation, and genocidal eradication by the exceedingly brutal efforts of the Chinese Army. This site is an informative base for international activism endorsing the exiled government's perspective, by an organization which seems interested in promoting many means of resistance, including some of questionable impact. But considering the brutality of the problem, this desperation is understandable. Includes current news and historical background.
