Thoroughly
effective rebellion against the dangerous and debilitating effects
of political power will ultimately depend on organized or spontaneous
tax revolts - cutting off the lifeblood of the parasitic system,
the source of its power to actually accomplish in economic terms,
the encapsulation of real capability without which officers of the
state can accomplish nothing. Without checking the flow of taxed
money, political power will not collapse as illusion and manipulation,
and governments will continue to interfere and cause harm.
One
means of accelerating that change is to publicly announce opposition
to the mandatory, force-based claims of government on your money,
and governments' (ab)uses of the taxed money they collect, and use
in your name. Without doing this, those in government and everyone
else will probably assume that you concur with the appropriation
of your money and all of its uses. Please, have the courage to read
and sign the following, and let others know about it:

Disavowing Tax Compulsion and Abuses of Taxation

We
who are claimed as citizens, subjects, and obligatory taxpayers
by the governments of the world,
Hereby
reject the mandatory arrogation of our property known as taxation,
by any government, no matter the country of our inhabitation, and
regardless of any unwilling compliance ultimately obtained by the
threat of intimidation, penalty, punishment, or other force.
Although
we lack the means to resist, we wish it to be known that in no way
should our compliance in the face of overwhelming force ever be
interpreted as affirmation or support. Temporary acceptance of the
situation by yielding money under implicit or explicit threat should
not be interpreted as approval, any more than giving up money to
armed thievery or extortion.
We
disavow any responsibility for the governmental policies adopted
or actions taken by means of our involuntary economic support. We
object to some or all uses to which our resources are applied in
our name without meaningful control, and we object to that money
being obtained from us by force.
We
reject the contradictory claim that any form of mandatory taxation
is voluntary, or that we are consumers or customers of government
services obligated to pay taxes for any and all ends of government.
By definition, consumers and customers choose how they spend their
own money, and whether they spend it, but we are allowed no such
choice over the taxed money collected by governments from income,
sales, exchange, or property ownership.
We
deny the right of any government to expect or force our subjugation
in the matter of our own resources. We declare our own property
inherently allodial
and unowed, and hereby signify that its confiscation by any government
is unwilling. We demand freedom of choice and full control over
the uses of our own money, the fruit of our own labor.
Sincerely,
The

Subject: Make your
opinion known about the taxes taken from you and their (ab)uses.
Every year around
tax time (if you live in America or another country with a specific
time to pay income tax), it can be disheartening to know that because
of insufficient public awareness you have to give up a substantial
portion of your earnings; your own isolated protest against this
theft, or the uses it's put to without your consent, wouldn't mean
much. So every year, you probably make the unfortunate but inevitable
choice just to turn it in and try not to think about where it's
going. (After all, considering some of the "uses" agencies
of the government have for your money, sometimes the best thing
that could happen to it is waste along the way.)
Aside from taxes
on income, there are of course many other "hidden" taxes
you end up paying directly or indirectly, just by doing everyday
things: going to the store, driving your car, owning a house or
using the telephone - sales taxes, gasoline/petrol taxes, telecommunications
taxes, a massive VAT (value-added tax) in many countries, property
taxes, investment taxes, fees, etc. Taxes are almost inescapable,
almost wherever or however you live.
But there is something
you can do - and remind other people to do: let everyone know why
you are paying taxes. Let everyone know that you're paying taxes
because you're being forced to, not because you're pretending along
with the tax collectors that you're a consumer or customer who has
a choice, and not because you agree with where the money is going.
You don't control
where the money is going, so let the world know you don't support
everything that other people do with your money, in your name.
You don't think taking
money by force and intimidation is voluntary - and you don't think
that's acceptable - so let the world know.
Only by taking this
step can we begin to raise public awareness of the situation, and
begin to change it.
