This website, Promethea, was created to teach a new philosophy of Prometheanism and found the Promethean movement. Promethea continues to publish Promethean writings and creative work, and is designed, edited and maintained by Phoenix with some assistance. (For more on the site's context see this page.)

The Promethean movement is an unprecedented, cooperative endeavor to change the world, fundamentally, in the interest of human life as it can be lived. The portal for the movement can be found at Prometheanmovement.org.

Prometheans are those select few leaders among the members of the Promethean movement with the special qualifications and dedication to assume personal responsibility for our success, and to provide guidance and direction. (All those openly involved in the movement are simply known as members.)

Our main task now is to seek and cultivate Prometheans and members. Much of the writing on this site relates to this. Right now, we are less concerned with public opinion, although Promethean writings provide education on important topics for everyone, and teach Prometheanism to anyone who wishes to learn about it.

Our first major long-term objective is to found the first Promethean society as a precursor to the Promethean world of the future, a world we know is difficult but possible to create.

The philosophy guiding the Promethean movement is called Prometheanism. A unique philosophy, Prometheanism is especially concerned with inspiring and guiding Prometheans and members of the Promethean movement.

The Promethean Trilogy provides the core expression of Prometheanism.

Other, ongoing compositions we publish are supplementary to the Trilogy. Read them for important depth on subjects such as studies of war, Promethean economics, understanding democracy, conformity, metaphysics, the utility of consistency and the value of self-expression. They also may include short-form literature, and some topical articles applying Prometheanism to current events and concerns.
